Lets focus on some practicing drills to maximise your time.

1. Hitting a bucket of balls should not be a speed driving contest. You must organize your practice regime. Hitting to many balls quickly will develop poor habits. Be sure to relax and take your time.

2. Golf is a game that is 90% percent mental so before every shot you hit at the range I want you to see yourself hitting a great shot. Furthermore, after hitting the shot reflect for a moment on the shot and try and understand why the shot was good or bad.

3. Bring a pen and paper and record your thoughts good and bad, Review your notes after each training, this may be weird but it works.Trust me!!!.

4. Try warm up your swing by first using short irons and them moving on to the longer clubs. You should only use maximum power when your swing has gotten to a consistent smoothness & fluid rhythm.

5. Create targets with different distances and try land the ball within a 2-5 metre area. Having a long drive and plenty of distance with poor accuracy does not make you a better player and definitely will not lower your scores.

Putting a well thought out practice plan will help develop your game and lower your handicap very quickly stay away from hitting buckets of balls.Start by making practicing a part of your weekly golf you will be amazed at the results. Take action and happy golfing.
