If you pay attention on your grip as it is now, it maybe a bit too tight as you are swinging the club, It might pay to loosen up a little during the swing. Your grip maybe the cause of the hook. Grip tension causes you to over rotate your wrists which causes you to close the clubface before making contact. Be sure to focus on this constantly until you get what is surely the cause. Measure and test your new found awareness at the driving range.

Before positioning yourself in your pre swing stance make you place the ball a fraction away from your body. In most cases golfers who slice usually play the stroke into their body which causes them to use too much bottom hand creating an outside in swing motion. The main purpose in this tip is to try and do the opposite whether you slice or hook. Keep practicing this technique until you get a consistent straight ball.

If you are right handed, aim for the right of your target, do the opposite if you are left handed.Give this a go only if you are still projecting the golf hook. This is still a good thing to try. Test this out and have fun with it.

It is important to be aware to end your swing with your weight on your front foot. To me this is the most important aspect to cure golf hook.
