Ballamor Golf Club was a premiere private golf course for 7 years before turning public this year.  The course features 5 sets of tees giant fast greens.  Fairways are lined with Fescue after about 20 feet of rough.  Wide rolling fairways and perfect conditions await you.  I was a member here for years, the layout is just unreal!

Atlantic City Country Club has received the most exposure through the years, it was once a very exlusive private golf club.You may not know that the term “Birdie” was coined on the 18th hole at Atlantic City Country in 1898.  This waterfront design has hosted Women’s LPGA US Opens, the First PGA Senior Tour Event, US Amateur Qualifiers and much more.  John J McDermott was the pro at Atlantic City CC when he won the US Open in 1911 and 1912.

Vineyards at Renault Winery is the newest course to be built in the South Jersey Region and is a recommended stop in the Atlantic City area.  The course features large greens, wide fairways, water in perfect places, bunkers in not good places LOL and some incredible holes, especially the one over the Vineyards  No driving range here but generally offers a practice net to get loose.

Cape May National is located down in Southern New Jersey about 25 minutes from AC.The layout is designed on a natural piece of land surrounded by parks and bird sanctuary’s, nature is everywhere on this course. Cape May National is family run, Zach runs the pro shop and Jennifer the groups and F & B, John Applegate is the Philadelphia section PGA pro.

McCullough’s Emerald Links is a Scottish links style course with lots of changes in elevation. Built on a former dump, the course will actually surprise you.  Very cool layout with tricky holes.  Aim for the Tower on Number 11 a blind tee shot to a short par 4,   Guaranteed day of fun.

Seaview Golf Resort features 2 distinctly different courses, the Pines and Bay. Junior Golf Club Set

If you are into golf, your children are probably going to want to try it once in a while. Children always want to emulate their parents, and that means they are going to find interest in all of the things that they see their parents doing. If the junior’s parents play golf, the children are going to show some interest in it. You can always take them to the mini golf range, but they are going to want to try the real thing. Start out by getting them a junior golf club set and then go from there.

When you first start them out, you want to take them somewhere to get their junior golf club set that sells all types of junior golf equipment. The reason for this is that all children are different heights, obviously, and they all need different lengths. You can make sure they are getting clubs for their junior golf club set that fits their size so they can learn well. If they have the wrong sizes, they are not going to learn a good and natural swing, and that can mean they never adjust right as they grown. That can lead to frustration and a lack of interest in golf later on.

When my husband first got a junior golf clubs for my youngest daughter, he bought them one golf club at a time. This is something that many moms and dads can do, especially if money is an issue. We got her a golf bag that was just her size, and then bought her just one club. The driver was the obvious choice as the first addition to the junior golf club set that she wanted so badly. That meant she had a bag like daddy, and could go learn to drive first. They went to the driving range together and were both very happy.

However, the problem is now that she is getting a little bigger and we may have to start all over again with a longer set of golf clubs.

If you have just one, like we do, you may have to find a way to see what you can sell when you have to move up more sizes.
